Regarding the Accommodation Tax

As previously announced on booking sites, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, will introduce a lodging tax to support sustainable community development.
Guests staying in Takayama City will be subject to the following lodging tax effective October 1, 2025.

[Reference] Regarding Accommodation Fees
1) Included in the accommodation fee: Room-only rate, service charges included in the room-only rate
2) Not included in the accommodation fee: Amounts equivalent to consumption tax, etc. (consumption tax, local consumption tax, bathing tax, etc.), fees for services other than lodging (meals, telephone, parking, meeting room usage fees, etc.)
Accommodation Tax Information (From Takayama City)
Regarding the payment of the lodging tax, our staff will calculate the applicable tax amount and collect it at checkout along with the bathing tax (¥150 per adult per night). We kindly ask for your understanding.
